Newport Beach Film Festival Returns Next Week: The 27th annual Newport Beach Film Festival returns October 15 through 22, bringing eight days of film premieres, special screenings and industry events to the city. More than 50,000 attendees are expected, with programming spanning international films, documentaries, music, food and design. Opening celebrations will take place at Fashion Island and Regal Edwards Big Newport, with additional events throughout the week.
